CIMMYT Climate Data

CIMMYT has Automatic Meteorological Stations(AMS) for each station office in México, many variables of weather are measured per day(rawdata) from wh​​ich daily, monthly and yearly sumaries are generated.

About 36 climate variables are measured by AMS and all of them are shown by rawdata queries, some of those variables are:

  • Temperature(C)
  • Rainfall(mm)
  • Solar Radiation(W/m2)
  • Relative Humidity(%)
  • Wind Speed (Km/h)
  • Evapotranspiration(mm)​​
Note:Data were taken with differents climate stations and sensors so CIMMYT Gis lab is not responsible for any damage caused by the use of the climate information.

 

For consulting climate data select Station name, kind of summary (Daily, Monthly, Yearly or Rawdata) and year and click on "Download file" label for get txt file in CSV format readible from EXCEL.​ Video shown below shows how to do queries.
